Synopsis:
A tight-knit crew of bank robbers has built a devoted online following by documenting their own daring heists on social media, framing their crimes through a self-styled Robin Hood philosophy that resonates with a disillusioned digital audience. As their viral fame grows, so too does the attention of a veteran FBI agent and a brilliant software engineer, who join forces to track the crew down before their next job. Billed as a meta-action collision of Point Break and Fast and Furious, the film blends high-octane heist spectacle with a sharp satirical eye on the culture of internet fame.
Review:
A slick, energetic action comedy that finds a genuinely fresh angle on the heist genre through its social-media framing, powered by an appealing ensemble led by Nicholas Hoult and Zoë Kravitz.
