The finale of the sixth season of The Chosen, the drama series that has followed the life of Jesus through the eyes of the people who knew him, comes to the big screen for its most solemn chapter. In Jerusalem, Jesus is betrayed by one of his own, arrested, put on trial before the religious and Roman authorities and condemned to death. As he carries his cross to Golgotha, his disciples, his mother and the women who followed him are left to face fear, grief and the apparent collapse of everything they believed, in a retelling that focuses on the human experience of those closest to him.
