Synopsis:
After a long absence, Ali G returns to a world he finds transformed by Covid, wars and Ed Sheeran – and his long-suffering girlfriend Julie is expecting his baby. Following on from Ali G Indahouse (2002), the film mixes scripted storytelling with hidden-camera encounters in the style of Borat and Da Ali G Show, as Baron Cohen takes the character out among unsuspecting members of the public. Ali G's preparations for parenthood take him from doctors' appointments to a birthing class, where he cheerfully announces his plan to be an absent father, alongside interviews with real-life figures who have no idea they are being set up.
Review:

Sacha Baron Cohen's first feature as director. The film was shot in secret, with Baron Cohen spotted filming in character at an Oxfordshire zoo in July 2025. Ali G first appeared on Channel 4's The 11 O'Clock Show in the late 1990s.
