Synopsis:

Maverick is back, still with the "need for speed" and carefully avoiding any form of promotion that would see him flying a desk! It's 30 years since the original film and this picture has Maverick now one of the Navy's top pilots, pushing the envelope as a test pilot and training new graduates for a specialised mission which brings him into contact with Lt. Bradley Bradshaw, call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late best friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, known as "Goose.”
