On a street in Victorian London, Charles Dickens (Gonzo the Great) relates the story of 'A Christmas Carol' to his friend Rizzo the Rat. Ebenezer Scrooge terrorises his bookkeepers on Christmas Eve, throwing out a couple of charity collectors and only reluctantly granting Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog) Christmas Day off to spend with his family. At home, Scrooge is visited by his former partners, Jacob and Robert Marley (Waldorf and Statler),who warn him to expect three ghosts at after midnight. At 1am, Scrooge is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, who takes him back to his joyless youth, working in the rubber chicken factory of Fozziwig (Fozzie Bear), where he meets but loses the pretty Belle. At 2am, the ghost of Christmas Present arrives and takes Scrooge to the party being given by his nephew Fred and his wife Clara - a party which Scrooge refused to attend - and the frugal Christmas being enjoyed by Bob Cratchit, his wife Emily (Miss Piggy) and their children. Finally, Scrooge meets the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come, and discovers the callous disregard which meets his own death.
